Undergraduate Admissions
Please only submit this form if your transfer credits have already been reviewed by the Admissions Office.
The Office of Admissions will respond to your inquiries within 4-6 weeks of submitting this Review of Transfer Credit.
If, after checking your transfer credit within the MyUCSC portal, you do not see your IGETC reflected as satisfying the lower-division general education requirements, you may want to ensure that your former community college sent your IGETC certification. Without that certification, UCSC cannot update your academic record. If your certification was not received, please have it sent to:
Office of the Registrar UC Santa Cruz 1156 High Street Santa Cruz, CA 95064
The Office of Admissions determines which coursework is transferable to the University and also determines which courses are used for UCSC General Education requirements. The Office of Admissions does not determine UCSC course equivalencies (a transfer course being equivalent to a UCSC course). Please consult with the appropriate UCSC academic department if you believe your transfer course is the equivalent to a UCSC course.
If, after checking your transfer credit within the MyUCSC portal, you believe that your Advanced Placement/International Baccalaureate examination(s) were not awarded transfer credit, check to ensure the official test scores were received. You can view all test scores UCSC has received in the MyUCSC portal. If your official scores are not present, contact the appropriate testing agency and have them sent to our campus. If you’ve already received confirmation that your scores have been sent, submit your Review of Transfer Credit indicating which exams are in question.
If, after checking your Academic Advisement report within the MyUCSC portal, you believe that your American History and Institutions (AH&I) requirements should be satisfied, you may want to ensure that UCSC has your official high school transcript or your official college transcript for the course you believe is appropriate to satisfy the AH&I requirements. If you need to send an official high school transcript or other transcript to UCSC, use the following address:
